Although Disney offers three great onsite properties for guests to stay in, some people can't afford or don't want to spend the money to stay at one of them. Instead, they choose to stay at one of the many hotels in walking distance of Disneyland.
Besides saving money on the cost of a room, most of the nearby hotels include a free continental breakfast as part of the room rate. The following hotels are all located on South Harbor Blvd. and are just a short walk from Disneyland and California Adventure.
Anaheim Camelot Inn & Suites
The Anaheim Camelot Inn & Suites features rooms with two queen beds or one king bed along with suites that can hold up to eight people. Guest laundry is available and a microwave and refrigerator are included in every room. Continental breakfast consists of juice, coffee, pastries, fruit, and cereal. A pool and jacuzzi are on site.

If looking for a hotel with family suites, the Anaheim Desert Inn & Suites has parlor suites for up to six people and family suites for up to ten people, along with standard rooms. Amenities include refrigerators, microwaves, and guest laundry.
A unique feature of this hotel is that it has a heated indoor pool, so guests can enjoy a dip in the pool year round. The free continental breakfast features toast, danish, cereal, fruit, coffee, and juice. All rooms are non-smoking.
Anaheim Fairfield Inn

Each room has a microwave and refrigerator, and guest laundry is available. Unlike many of the other hotels next to Disneyland, there is no free, continental breakfast.
Best Western Park Place
One of the best continental breakfasts offered at a hotel near Disneyland is that at the Best Western Park Place. Guests can enjoy a free, breakfast buffet that consists of biscuits and gravy, bagels and cream cheese, cereal, fresh fruit, donuts, and hard boiled eggs.
Standard rooms can host up to five people while six can sleep in a mini-suite. Laundry services are available and guests can enjoy a microwave and refrigerator in each room, along with a heated, outdoor pool. There's also free, wireless internet access.
Carousal Inn & Suites by Disneyland
Standard rooms, kids suites for up to four people and resort suites for up to six people can be found at the Carousal Inn & Suites. There's a refrigerator in every room and guests can enjoy a nice view from the roof top pool. Donuts, coffee, and juice are offered for breakfast and there's a guest laundry on the premises.
Park Vue Inn in Anaheim
Waffles, eggs, pastries, cereal and fresh fruit are just part of the complimentary breakfast for guests at the Park Vue Inn. Standard rooms, adjoining rooms, and suites for up to six people all feature refrigerators and microwaves. There's a guest laundry on site as well as a heated pool.
Tropicana Inn & Suites at the Anaheim Resort
After a breakfast of pastries, coffee, and juice, guests can spend some time in the heated pool or whirlpool before heading out for the day. Standard room and suites for up to six people are available with each room containing a refrigerator and microwave. This hotel is 98% smoke free.
There are many hotels to choose from that are only a quick walk from Disneyland and California Adventure. Although staying at an official Disney hotel is fun and adds to theme of a vacation, travelers can save a lot of money by staying at one of the near by hotels instead.
