Studying and exams are finally over. The graduation ceremony is complete and now it's time to celebrate with a party. The right food can help make any party a hit. To start with, decide on a budget and create a menu. A buffet is a good way to go as there would be a good variety of food to eat.

Don't put out too much food at a time, particularly food that would normally be refrigerated . It's better to go through a little at a time, replacing food as needed.

From time to time, bring out a hot food item. Ideas include quesadillas, hot wings, pizza bread, cocktail pigs in a blanket, pot stickers, cheese fondue with bread cubes, and miniature meatballs with toothpicks. Keep a bunch of beverages on hand in coolers. Sodas, bottled water, and Gatorade are popular choices. A smoothie bar is sure to be a hit.
Party Desserts
Of course no party is complete without some delicious desserts. There are several ways to go with this. A large sheet cake can be made. To make it fun, have a picture of the school, school mascot or, student hosting the party iced on the cake. If desired, put on some candles and let everyone help to blow them out.
Another suggestion is to set up some easy desserts like an assortment of cookies, brownies, Rice Crispie treats, etc. Looking to do something extra special? How about a chocolate buffet? Items could include chocolate covered strawberries, chocolate cheesecake, an assortment of candies including fudge and even some chocolate fondue.
Celebrating graduation with a fun party is a way for friends to all come together before going their separate ways. Food is an important part of a party and having a nice assortment of food to choose from should keep all guests happy.
