Janis Masyk-Jackson
Janis published her first newspaper article at the age of ten. Since that time she has worked on and off as a writer for various publications as both a reporter and columnist. She is currently raising a family, but wanted to return to one of her passions, writing.
Janis was only with Suite for a short time before she was promoted to the feature writer in meditation. After spending a long run there, she switched over to the feature writer for New Age. Several of her articles have received editor's praise and she has also been awarded with an Editor's Choice Award. She was then promoted to topic editor.
Janis has studied parapsychology for several years and is involved with various parapsychology groups. Her goal is to seek the truth between science and experience. She also enjoys traveling and anything Disney.
In addition to writing for Suite101, Janis is also a feature writer for Xomba.com in the paranormal section and a contributing writer for Bright Hub, Wikio UK, Factoidz and World.edu.
